	Brief Information The following list of online newspapers and other periodical publications is brought together on this page as a convenience to our users. Some of these resources are fee-based and are purchased by the Fulton Public Library, the Roswell P. Flower Memorial Library in Watertown, the North Country Library System, the Northern New York Library Network, and the New York State Library through the NOVEL (New York Online Virtual Electronic Library) project which is funded by the Federal Institute of Library and Museum Services through the Library Services and Technology Act. All of the for-fee databases require a user name and password, and some can only be used on-site at the Fulton Public Library. Other linked sites are subject to the design restrictions of the site owner and may require additional software such as Adobe Acrobat Reader or Adobe Flash Player. Available Newspapers Internet Public Library Reading Room The Internet Public Library features a searchable, subject-categorized directory of authoritative websites; links to online texts, newspapers, and magazines; and the Ask A Question online reference service. New York State Newspaper Project A part of the New York State Library web site, this section contains the state-wide bibliography of newspapers held in microfilm and original paper at the New York State Library and at libraries around New York State. Newspaper and Current Periodical Reading Room of the Library of Congress The Library of Congress maintains one of the most extensive newspaper collections in the world. It is exceptionally strong in US newspapers, with 9,000 titles covering the past three centuries. With over 25,000 non-US titles, it is the largest collection of overseas newspapers in the world. Beyond its newspaper holdings, the Division also has extensive collections of current periodicals (70,000 titles) comic books (6,000 titles) and government publications (1 million items). News Voyager NewspaperLinks.com, hosted by the Newspaper Association of America, is the official gateway to local newspaper sites on the Web. Northern New York Historical Newspapers Northern New York Historical Newspapers are provided by the Northern New York Library Network to enhance access to the region's unique local history. The online collection currently consists of more than 1,004,000 pages from twenty-eight newspapers. Palladium Times Online The Oswego Palladium Times is a newspaper in Oswego, New York covering local news. Small Town Newspapers Small Town Newspaper is an online newspaper directory catering to small town archives and local newspaper readers. Valley News Online Online news, sports, area guide, calendar of local events and classifieds and much more serving all of Fulton and Oswego County.
