Library Welcomes 'Show of Love'
Thank you to all of those who came out on
Friday for a great "Show of Love" put on by Joe Trionfero. All who
attended, children and adults alike, found the program to be informative
and entertaining. |

MISSION
STATEMENT |
|
The basic objectives of the
Fulton Public Library are to collect, preserve and
disseminate knowledge and thought as recorded in print on
free and equal terms to all individuals and groups in the
community. The library recognizes that its major concern
must be toward the development of the individual as a
citizen, and the removal of ignorance, intolerance and
indifference; and to provide printed material which will
satisfy the need of individuals to become well informed, to
decide important questions, to discipline the emotions, to
cultivate the imagination, to refine tastes and to
creatively use their leisure time. Although financial
limitations generally prevent equal emphasis on all aspects
of these objectives, the library recognizes its
responsibility in providing the above and also to provide a
maximum of assistance to its clients in the use of the
collection. |

LIBRARY
CARDS |
|
To obtain a borrower's card
from the Fulton Public Library you must live, work, study, own property
or pay tax in the State of New York and have verifiable proof of same.
Children under the age of 13 can obtain a card with parental consent as
soon as they can legibly write their first and last name. There is a
small fee for the replacement of lost cards, the late return of
materials, the use of photo-copy, printer and fax machines and to
purchase items from our on-going lobby book sale; otherwise, all
programs and services are provided free of charge. |
